Whole Wheat Pretz…
Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the flour and salt to the bowl and mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope about 18 inches long.
  4. Form each rope into a pretzel shape and place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
