Whipped Cream Cake
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  3. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the batter alternately with the milk.
  4. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Cake is done when it springs back to the touch.
  6. Allow to cool before frosting with whipped cream.
