- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs then stir in the milk and melted butter.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients.
- Stir until just combined.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
- Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each waffle.
- Cook each waffle until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot.
