Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 8 ounces dried rice noodles

Steps
  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the garlic and pork, and cook until the pork is browned.
  2. Add the fish sauce, chicken broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, pepper, and rice vinegar. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Add the noodles and simmer for 5 minutes more.
  5. Serve hot.
