- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 8 ounces dried rice noodles
- Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the garlic and pork, and cook until the pork is browned.
- Add the fish sauce, chicken broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, pepper, and rice vinegar. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add the noodles and simmer for 5 minutes more.
- Serve hot.
