- 1 cup cooked black beans
- 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Form into four patties.
- Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat and cook patties for 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Serve on buns with your favorite condiments.
