- 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
- 1/2 cup cooked black beans
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup grated carrot
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Form into patties and cook on a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
