Vegetable Pakoras
Ingredients
  • 2 cups of chickpea flour
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Steps
  1. Mix together the chickpea flour, turmeric, cumin, coriander, chili powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add enough water to make a thick batter.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep-frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
