- 2 cups of chickpea flour
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Mix together the chickpea flour, turmeric, cumin, coriander, chili powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
- Add enough water to make a thick batter.
- Heat the oil in a deep-frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
