Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup finely chopped mixed vegetables
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, boiling water, vegetable oil and salt.
  2. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into 12 pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  4. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball of dough into a thin circle.
  5. Place 1 tablespoon of the vegetables in the center of each circle.
  6. Fold the circle in half to form a half moon shape and pinch the edges together to seal.
  7. Repeat with remaining circles and vegetables.
  8. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the sesame oil. Add the dumplings and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
