Vegan Waffles
Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup plant-based milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons applesauce

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the plant-based milk, vegetable oil and applesauce.
  3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Preheat a waffle iron and spray with nonstick spray.
  5. Scoop 1/3 cup of batter into preheated waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer's instructions.
  6. Repeat with remaining batter.
