- 1/2 cup raw cashews, soaked for at least 2 hours
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3/4 cup water
- In a blender, add the soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder and sea salt. Blend until smooth.
- Add the lemon juice and water and blend until creamy.
- Transfer the queso to a small saucepan and heat over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes or until hot.
- Serve warm with chips or veggies.
