- 1/2 cup vegan butter
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups unsweetened nondairy milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups vegan cheese, shredded
- Melt the vegan butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add the nondairy milk, whisking constantly until thickened.
- Stir in the salt and garlic powder.
- Add the vegan cheese and stir until melted.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if desired.
- Serve warm.
