Vegan Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups unsweetened nondairy milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups vegan cheese, shredded

Steps
  1. Melt the vegan butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly add the nondairy milk, whisking constantly until thickened.
  4. Stir in the salt and garlic powder.
  5. Add the vegan cheese and stir until melted.
  6. Taste and adjust seasonings if desired.
  7. Serve warm.
