- 2 cups cooked long grain white rice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1/2 red pepper, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the cooked rice and stir to combine.
- Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Continue cooking until everything is heated through. Add more soy sauce if desired.
- Serve hot.
