- 2 cups macaroni
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with vegan butter.
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the vegan butter over low heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Whisk in the milk, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
- Add cooked macaroni to the baking dish. Pour sauce over the top and stir until combined.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
