Vegan Baked Macar…
Ingredients
  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with vegan butter.
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt the vegan butter over low heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Whisk in the milk, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
  5. Add cooked macaroni to the baking dish. Pour sauce over the top and stir until combined.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
