- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrained
- 1 (15 oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- In a large saucepan, cook the turkey, onion, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin and oregano over medium heat until the turkey is no longer pink.
- Add in the tomatoes with green chiles, black beans and chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot with desired toppings.
