- 4 cups of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and celery. Cook until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in thyme, sage, pepper, and salt.
- Pour mixture into a large bowl and add breadcrumbs.
- Stir in chicken broth until evenly combined.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
