- 2 cans tuna, drained
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices bread, toasted
- 8 slices cheese
- In a medium bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the mixture evenly onto 4 slices of toast. Top each with a slice of cheese and another slice of toast.
- Place sandwiches on a baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
