Ingredients
1/2 lb. linguine
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup pine nuts
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves

Steps
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add linguine and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
In a blender or food processor, combine olive oil, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, salt and pepper; process until blended.
In a large bowl, combine cooked linguine with the pesto sauce. Gently stir in cherry tomatoes and basil.
Serve at room temperature or chilled.
