- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 slices French bread, toasted
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Spread tomato mixture on each slice of toast. Top with mozzarella slices.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
