- 6 tomatillos, husks removed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- In a medium saucepan, heat the tomatillos over medium heat until they are soft.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a food processor or blender, combine the tomatillos, garlic, onion, jalapeno, cumin and lime juice.
- Process until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
