Tomatillo Salsa
Ingredients
  • 6 tomatillos, husks removed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the tomatillos over medium heat until they are soft.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. In a food processor or blender, combine the tomatillos, garlic, onion, jalapeno, cumin and lime juice.
  4. Process until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
