- 2 large tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- salt and pepper to taste
- In a medium bowl, mash the tomatillos with a fork.
- Add the jalapeno pepper, onion, garlic, avocados, lime juice, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix together until combined.
- Serve immediately with chips or as a topping for tacos or burritos.
