Tom Yum Soup
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemongrass, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Steps
  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the garlic, lemongrass, and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant. Add the vegetable broth, fish sauce, lime juice and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Strain the soup into a clean pot or bowl. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
