- 1 cup uncooked jasmine rice
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the jasmine rice, cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, salt, cardamom and cinnamon. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Stir in cooked rice; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
- Let cool before serving.
