- 1 lb. beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons sake or white wine
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sake or white wine and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until golden brown.
- Stir in the teriyaki sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve with steamed rice.
