Tempura Vegetables
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • Vegetables of your choice (such as broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, etc.)

Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add the cold water to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  2. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F. Dip vegetables into the batter and fry for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
