- 2 lbs potatoes
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
- Peel and grate the potatoes. Place grated potatoes in a bowl of cold water and let stand for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse, and dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, mix together the potatoes, flour, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into 1 inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Turn tater tots over with a spatula halfway through cooking time.
