Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add in the yogurt and vegetable oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape into balls.
  5. Roll each ball out into a flat circle about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place one of the naan circles on the hot skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
  7. Repeat with remaining naan circles. Serve warm.
