- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add in the yogurt and vegetable oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape into balls.
- Roll each ball out into a flat circle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place one of the naan circles on the hot skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
- Repeat with remaining naan circles. Serve warm.
