Taco Shells
Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add the oil and water and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
  4. Cut out circles with a biscuit cutter or glass.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place each circle of dough in the skillet and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the skillet and let cool on a wire rack before serving.
