- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 quarts popped popcorn
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in corn syrup, sugar and salt.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.
- Pour over popped popcorn in a large bowl and mix until evenly coated.
- Press mixture into greased 9x13 inch pan.
