Sundae Pie
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and corn syrup.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder; stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Press dough into an ungreased 9 inch pie plate.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in preheated oven, or until golden brown.
  7. Cool before filling with ice cream of your choice.
