- 12 jumbo shells
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 cups spaghetti sauce
- Cook shells in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water; set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
- In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley and Italian seasoning.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the ricotta mixture into each shell.
- Place the stuffed shells in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Top with spaghetti sauce.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until heated through.
