- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 2 cups chopped fresh rhubarb
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, flour and nutmeg.
- Place the mixture in the pie shell.
- Cut butter into small pieces and sprinkle over the top.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
