Ingredients
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the strawberries, blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes or until juice begins to bubble through the slits in the top crust.
  5. Cool before serving.
