Strawberry Rhubar…
Ingredients
  • 3 cups fresh rhubarb, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
  • 1 9-inch pie crust

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg and salt. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Pour mixture into the prepared pie crust and dot with butter.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  5. Let cool before serving.
