- 4 cups strawberries, washed and hulled
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- In a medium saucepan, combine the strawberries and sugar.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the lemon juice and reduce the heat to low.
- Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to an airtight container.
