Stovetop Macaroni…
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound elbow macaroni, cooked

Steps
  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until blended.
  3. Gradually stir in the milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
  4. Reduce the heat to low. Add the cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni and stir to coat with the cheese sauce.
