- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup diced carrots
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, and warm water until it forms a dough.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes. Add the oil and salt and knead for an additional 5 minutes.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a large rectangle.
- Sprinkle the vegetables over the dough and roll it up into a log shape.
- Cut the log into 12 even pieces.
- Place each piece in a greased steamer basket or on parchment paper on top of a steamer rack.
- Steam for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
