Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup diced carrots
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup diced onion

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, and warm water until it forms a dough.
  2. Knead the dough for 10 minutes. Add the oil and salt and knead for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a large rectangle.
  5. Sprinkle the vegetables over the dough and roll it up into a log shape.
  6. Cut the log into 12 even pieces.
  7. Place each piece in a greased steamer basket or on parchment paper on top of a steamer rack.
  8. Steam for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
