Steamed Rice
Ingredients
  • 2 cups long-grain white rice
  • 3 cups water

Steps
  1. Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear.
  2. Add the rice and water to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
  5. Fluff with a fork before serving.
