- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes.
- Drain the broccoli and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Stir in the lemon juice and zest and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked broccoli to the saucepan and toss to coat. Serve warm.
