Steamed Broccoli …
Ingredients
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the broccoli florets and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Drain the broccoli and set aside.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice and zest and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked broccoli to the saucepan and toss to coat. Serve warm.
