- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- In a large bowl, combine the pork, shrimp, green onions, cilantro, garlic, ginger root, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil.
- Mix well and let stand for 10 minutes.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions.
- Place each portion in the center of a spring roll wrapper.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll up tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Fry spring rolls until golden brown on all sides.
- Drain on paper towels.
