- 1 lb. spaghetti
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Toss cooked spaghetti with sauce and serve.
