In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the meatballs and cook for about 8 minutes until golden brown.
Add the crushed tomatoes and simmer for about 15 minutes.
