  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

Sweet Potato Pecan Pie

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake sweet potatoes for 1 hour. Cool and peel.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the sweet potatoes with butter. Stir in sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and eggs. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 40 to 50 minutes or until set. Cool before serving.
  4. Enjoy!
