Ingredients
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Steps
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the buttermilk, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and turn to coat.
  2. In a separate shallow bowl, add the flour.
  3. Heat 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the flour and shake off any excess. Place in the hot oil and fry for 4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve hot.
