Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 3 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 3 cups crumbled white bread
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and celery, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cornbread, white bread, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in the cooked vegetables and eggs.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
