Sourdough Bread
Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Stir in the lukewarm water until a thick dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough for 10 minutes. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 1 hour.
  3. Shape the dough into a loaf and place on a greased baking sheet. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Let cool before slicing.
