- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, salt and yeast. Stir until the yeast is dissolved.
- Add the flour and stir until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 5 minutes or until it is smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces and roll each piece into a rope about 18 inches long.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape each rope into a pretzel shape and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
