- 3-4 lbs pork shoulder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup chicken broth or water
- Preheat smoker to 225°F. Rub the pork shoulder with the spices and brown sugar.
- Place pork shoulder in smoker and cook for 4-5 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Shred pork with two forks and place in a bowl. Mix in apple cider vinegar and chicken broth or water.
- Serve pulled pork on buns with your favorite BBQ sauce.
